In The Opening Round, Jesse Holland of MMA Mania joined Pep to preview this weekend’s Stikeforce event and whether the event has been promoted effectively thus far. Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers airs on CBS on Saturday, November 7th and features a main event of Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers, a Middleweight title fight between Jake Shields and Mayhem Miller and a Lightheavyweight battle between Gegard Mousasi and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou.

UFC Welterweight Standout Jon Fitch Headines Pro MMA Radio Monday, November 2nd!

UFC title contender Jon Fitch makes his way to Pro MMA Radio this week. Jon has been on a roller coaster of late with scheduled bouts with Ricardo Almeida and Thiago Alves both being cancelled when both Brazilian fighters suffered knee injuries. Fitch has put together an amazing 10-1 record in the Octagon, including an eight fight winning streak. His only loss came at the hands of division kingpin Georges St. Pierre.

In The Opening Round, we’ll get you ready for Strikeforce’s first network event on CBS that features a heavyweight clash between Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers.
